Every year, between January and February, the beautiful city of Catania hosts the celebrations devoted to St. Agatha, the citys patron. This tradition dates back centuries, it is very important for the local inhabitants and very appreciated by thousands of worshippers and tourists, who go to Sicily to take part in this Catholic feast, which is considered as one of the most important ones in the world.
